COMMON SENSE FARMER LEE ANDERSON LEADS
IN GEORGIA’S 12TH DISTRICT
(Grovetown, GA) – Common sense farmer Lee Anderson is leading professional politician and flip-flopper John Barrow in a recent poll conducted by McLaughlin and Associates.
After a tough Primary and Run-Off, Anderson is leading Barrow 44% to 43% with 13% undecided. Former Massachusetts Governor and Republican nominee Mitt Romney is wildly popular throughout Georgia’s 12th Congressional District and leads President Barack Obama by thirteen points, 53% to 40%, respectively. According to the poll, District voters adamantly oppose ObamaCare, stimulus spending, and the failed leadership of Barack Obama and John Barrow.
“Our polling shows that incumbent Democrat John Barrow is below 50% and vulnerable,” said Reagan Williams, Campaign Manager for Lee Anderson. “His scare tactics on Medicare and vain PR stunts aren’t working, and his political career is in jeopardy. Simply put, John Barrow doesn’t have a path to victory. The voters in GA-12 reject the failed leadership of Obama and Barrow and clearly want a new direction.”
“The Republican team is united,” said Ryan Mahoney, Communications Director for Lee Anderson. “Romney-Anderson is the clear choice for voters in the District over the failed Obama-Barrow team. We are going to work hard everyday to share with voters Lee’s plan to get America growing again. Step one to real recovery is sending John Barrow and Barack Obama home in November.”
McLaughlin and Associates surveyed 400 likely voters on August 30 in Georgia’s 12th Congressional District. Attached is a polling memo by John McLaughlin, Governor Nathan Deal’s pollster.
